Suna Ezra Petersen is an architect based in Zurich. After studying at the University of Innsbruck and the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, she taught at the Institute for Experimental Architecture ./studio3 in Innsbruck. She has been working for Rainer Köberl, Herzog & de Meuron and Studio Trachsler Hoffmann.
Today, she combines her work as a teaching assistant with her work as an architect, focusing on renewable materials and sustainable construction methods. In collaborations with Lino Lanzmaier, David Schönen, Charlotte Bitter, and friends, she develops projects that combine architecture, sustainability and collective processes. As a recipient of the Margarete Schütte-Lihotzky Scholarship, she is currently investigating the atmospheric and democratic relevance of playgrounds.
